Why Steemit has become our preferred destination to release new content

Thanks for the article. I followed you from Michael Heises post on Facebook.

I’ve had the same experience with censorship on other platforms especially Facebook. I’m looking forward to see what I can achieve here.

Awesome! Glad you found us.

Yeah, it really has gotten out of hand. FB algorithms pretty much killed our page, which had been growing steadily up to 13,000 likes. No matter where we link our podcasts from, those posts are always virtually hidden. Pretty sure we were shadow banned on Twitter awhile ago, too. And don't even get me started on YouTube. LoL

The vibe here certainly feels different, and at least there isn't a threat of our content being pulled. We'll definitely take that, and the potential to actually be paid for the content, any day of the week.

I’ve noticed the Facebook censorship quite a bit. They’ve really throttled my reach down. My page is the Tech Anarchist. I’ve had my share of 30 day bans over there for who knows what reason. Im currently working on migrating subscribers over here. Im still trying to figure out the algorithms here. Have you found any successful strategies?
