Hello Everybody,
I don't know if you guys already know but there is this new Italian Company Called Paymeabit that is trying to compete with Steemit. They however pay out their users in Bitcoin (bits). I just join their Platform which is still in beta and fairly new with just a handful of members. Not going to lie but I still prefer the Steemit Platform. They do however have a lot of backers and since their are still in beta they still have a lot to work on just like Steemit. You guys can read all about this new Steemit competitor on the following article.

Seems like a simple advertising site. Ton of ads that probably pays small % of ad revenue to users, rest to dev.
Does not seem to be what starts a movement.

No. There is no advertising at all in Paymeabit.com , and you get everything you earn from what you post, or even comment , in real bitcoin

From what I gather it's not like Steem. Instead readers make micropayments to authors to read their articles. This isn't a genuine rival and won't be a revolution like Steem.

I totally agree, doesn't even come close to Steemit. Not to mention I also found another similar site called yours.network

Agreed I don't see this having any success, no one likes to spend on something they can get for free
