The Steemit team did their best to help restore my account, but alas, to protect the user and account each of our accounts are unique. Shortly after creating my account I was having some issues with Firefox, so I decided to remove Firefox and the Mozilla folder entirely. Then I did a refresh reload of Firefox. You can imagine my shock and or horror when I tried to log back into my Steemit account.
The annoying part, although this was entirely my fault, is that I created the account with my YouTube Brand name. After starting this new account it clearly indicates on the account creation screen that passwords cannot be recovered. The Steemit team was incredibly courteous and I appreciate their efforts.
