It might not seem like much, but it's the largest following I've ever had on social media. The closests I've ever come prior to this point is when I reached 72 followers on Experience Project. Unfortunately, the Federal government shutdown EP in early 2016 and I lost contact with many people I had befriended there. Hopefully, the same fate does not befall steemit.

I remember my first 100. It is a milestone. I post every day and comment at least 20 times a day on other posts. It has been 10 months and I am almost at 1000 followers. For me it has be patients and hard work by creating content. Wish you well

Hey, congrats!

Wow, congratulations. I have had many followers on other sites but you are way ahead of me on here :)

Congrats @chirielreison! I am still working on my first hundred but it will come, just keep on writing quality content, I will:-) I noticed from your other post that you have a bit of a libertarian bent. Is there such a group or tag here on Steemit? I have an advanced degree in Political Science/Constitutional law and it tickles me to meet like minded people. I have been writing mindfulness topics since joining Steeemit but there is room to express all my interests here, so time to let the libertarian out:-) If you know of some good tags for political writing or non-steemian platforms to cross-post to please share. Thanks! Again congratulations on your 100th follower!

Some popular tags for these interests are #liberty #libertarian #constitution and #tyranny. Since I've been here I have created the tags #naturalrights #propertyrights #morallaw #4thamendment #5thamendment #1stamendment etc. From my experience, most self-identified libertarians are anarchists or anti-statists and follow a deontological ethics. I am not one of them. As for me I'm more of a utilitarian; I care more about substance than labels and put more weight on specific policies than ideological purity. The majority of steemit is libertarian though so I try to gear my content towards what they would look for. I'm going to write two entries on civil forfeiture in the upcoming week and would like to hear your input.

Thank you for the great ideas for tags, @chirieleison! I did not know you could make your own tags:-) I feel the same way you do about labels and purity...I want what works while still being true to classical libertarianism (Hayek, Mises, Schumpeter, and Rothbard). Machiavellian methods work but I don't subscribe to the idea that the end justifies the means, aka SJW tactics..
I am greatly interested in civil forfeiture issues, the pushback against state-sponsored theft is finally getting some traction and anything I could do to help in that area would be a lot of fun for me. The whole idea that government can judge property of a crime and take it without ever even charging the owner with a crime (let alone conviction!) is a blatant abuse of police power and in direct contravention of the 4th and 5th Amendments (warrantless search and seizure, Taking clause). I look forward to your posts, and I shall start posting in these Libertarian veins also:-)
