The following screenshots are from Alexa.com.  All data/information is based on 8 September 2016 ALEXA REPORT.  For your information and inspiration.

STEEMIT POPULARITY
---------------------------------

Comparable Chart of other social media sites.

Based on the previous ranking as per my report, Steemit was ranked 13,692 as compared today's rank 11,562 - a significant improvement of 2,130 positions! Here we find that Steemit is constantly rising to the top. In a matter of weeks, I have no doubt Steemit will belong to the Top 1,000 if not Top 100 sites.

VISITORS ENGAGEMENT

------------------------------------------------

The other 3 social network sites have literally decreased (see the RED numbers?)  in ALL aspects of VISITORS ENGAGEMENT while Steemit continues to increase. WE ROCK! With members climbing to 86,000 strong, Steemit will improve in all aspects of social media and more!

The following shows graphical representations of each areas of user engagement:

It is very apparent that Steemit will have its place at the top of the food chain. With all the great content creators, members of good standing, and a superb development team, Steemit will continue to rise and its members will reap the rewards no other social media have done.

Thank you for putting this together.
It is really neat to see how popular a website is.
:D

I hope Steemit can keep growing. Growth may be slowing and each further step up the Alexa ladder is larger than the previous one. I think it's an exponential graph. The top 100 sites probably have hundreds of millions of visitors, so there's a long way to grow.

The Steemit concept is radical and it will be hard to get a lot of people to understand it. Once all the geeks have joined up you are dealing with less technical people who are happy with what Facebook offers them, plus that's where all their friends are.

Not everyone wants to be a blogger. Perhaps Steemit can also have more social aspects in time that will appeal to more people. I've seen mention of building something like Twitter on it. That's fine as long as we can control the sorts of content we see.

It's still very early days and predictions are hard to make from initial growth. I got excited about Tsu which achieved millions of users in the first year, but gradually slowed and was killed off when the investors stopped funding it. Steemit is not dependent on that sort of funding, but Tsu showed that even the chance to earn money is not enough to bring in the numbers needed.

Not trying to put a downer on things, but we have to be realistic whilst helping to build this thing.

Just keeping a positive view on Steemit's growth. Of course, being realistic is always the best way to see things especially when Steemit is not even a year old. But then again, anything can happen. And it can happen both ways, too. We cannot really predict any future especially Steemit's but it has the potential to be great in its own right, however and whatever the direction the leaders here are taking us to.

The success of Steemit depends on the members and the leaders and Steemit itself as it would to any other endeavor. Collaboration and unified mindset is what we need. There is no other way for Steemit to succeed but all rests on these philosophy.

Thank you for being realistic. It's a healthy practice.

While facebook and reddit have a more stable engagement, steemit is still in the eratic phase which is normal thing in system theory for a new system before going to stabilize hopefully at a higher point, which I believe in.

thanks for sharing this material, I like what you posted. Thank you so much

Its flatlining and approaching an apex, I don't see it hit in the 10k range very soon.

I bet you 1 SBD that it will in 2 weeks time.

I'm an analyst, not a gambler.
Please tell me at which point there is any value added in this pissing contest.
Its in a nerd/dork death spiral now, getting less attractive every day.

I'm glad you're not a gambler because I am not one, too. But the rise of Steemit does not ONLY constitute the value of STEEM. It may be one of the biggest factors but not the only one. People actually love being here notwithstanding of the earnings or how much value is STEEM today.

But then again, at your standpoint being an analyst factoring Steemit's success based on STEEM economy, you are probably right.

But sometimes analysts could be wrong. ;-)

Here it is, the apex
