Has anyone had issues with hyperlinks? I have been building a travelogue on Israel over the past couple of weeks. I have been using standard HTML in my posts (a href=). My links read the way that they appear to me when I look at the URL. I also tried removing the "s" from https to see if that would work. It did not fix the problem.

I would like for people to be able to navigate between the articles, since they are all part of a broader trip. Unfortunately, I can't figure it out. I am open to suggestions.

While I am at it, I have noticed one glaring issue I have with this platform. The payout system is designed to be one week. Two things happen after the payout. 1. You can no longer modify your post. 2. You can no longer earn. These are two issues, so I will address them separately.

First, why can't we modify our older posts? What if we discover an error we want to correct? What if we want to add links? The latter is an issue for me. As I build my travelogue, I can only update the posts that were written within a week with my new hyperlinks. So the older the posts are, the less navigation you can do to my other posts. I really don't like that feature and would like an explanation why.

Second, it is not uncommon for an older post to "go viral." I know our payouts are driven by user views and not outside views, but it would be nice if both things were addressed. If our posts are driving traffic to this website, there should be a reward for that. Also, if one of our older posts goes viral and is linked and viewed by a large number of people a month or a year later, why is there no compensation? This is true even if it were to go viral "internally."

I have been creating content on the internet since the 1990s. I have often had to go back and figure out why I had a sudden bump in revenue. It is not uncommon to find that something I had written a year or more prior had suddenly spiked. I once reviewed a television I purchased. The following Christmas it was on a doorbuster sale. My review received thousands of hits over night. It was amazing. It paid for itself...a year late. And I was certainly not complaining.

Anyway, my first issue is getting the hyperlinks to work. If anyone can offer suggestions, please do. On the other issues, is there anyone listening?

Thanks.
