Some days, I feel unappreciated and ignored.

And then there are days—like today—when I notice that something I've requested, and even complained about, has been acted upon.

And so, it is only right that I should stop and thank "The Powers That Be" at Steemit for taking appropriate action on one of my complaints.

I still recall the day I noticed it.

There was a sudden, unexpected change in the way the Steemit VOTE slider worked. Suddenly, instead of having two distinct sliders—one to use voting for articles, one for comments—the two seemed tied together.

The result was that I accidentally wasted much voting power on comments I did not really intend to reward highly.

I wrote about the issue here, complaining bitterly.

Well, it's now come to my attention,

that this problem has been remedied. We seem to have reverted to separate sliders again.

And so, I'm here to say:

Thank you, Steemit Powers!

I appreciate the fix.

Now, if you would only get to the Ugly Eject Box and Unlimited Editing fixes during my lifetime...

P.S. If you have an "in" with anybody at Steemit, Inc. - Would you please ask them to get rid of these damn, extremely annoying "off-website" arrow/boxes? The have, overnight, made Steemit ugly. There are much better solutions.
