Hey fellow Steemians, Crypto Gawd here! Just wanted to drop in and let you know that you are not alone. You are not the only one banging out article after article looking to hit it big. I'm right here with you. The fact that you are even staying active is a testament to your character. It means you are light years ahead of your friends who wish they could be doing something they enjoyed and getting paid for it. It shows that you are a go-getter, a hustler and fighter. This is exactly the type of attitude you need to make it here on Steemit (or life in general).
Steve Backley (retired former world record holder for Javelin throwing; you get the point) once famously said:
"There are three types of people in this world. Firstly, there are people who make things happen. Then, there are people who watch things happen. Lastly, there are people who ask, what happened? Which do you want to be?”
I know which one I want to be. I'm trying to make things happen! And, you can't make things happen by sitting on your ass. Well, I guess you can sit on your ass. But, make sure you are strapped with your favorite desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone so you can keep writing.
Sure, all your articles might not be hits or even make a penny. That's nothing to be ashamed of. I mean look at mine. I have a few articles that haven't earned much at all. But, that's ok. Because, I'm constantly learning. I'm constantly improving my writing and editing skills. I'm learning what works and what doesn't. There's no shame in falling down, as long as you get right back up and fight harder and smarter.
Life is gonna chew you up and spit you out. That's a given. How are you gonna react to it? That's what separates the winners from the losers. And, I know you are not a loser. Because, you have the perseverance to continue this path. Everyday is getting you closer to that breakthrough article that will get resteemed, increase your SP, and earn you more Steam dollars than you could have ever imagined.
"Champions are made when no one is watching."
Keep your eyes on the prize. It all starts right here by typing up those low earning articles. They all add up over time. Everybody starts somewhere. Think of it as a snowball effect. Soon (as your followers and influence grow) those articles that only used to earn a few pennies will start earning you a few dollars. And, if you really keep at, a few hundred dollars per article is not out of the question. Ask some of the top earners here.
You have a real opportunity here. Don't get discouraged because you aren't at the top of the food chain yet.
Every whale was once a minnow
I'm gonna personally make it a goal to write at least a couple articles per day and keep track of this journey. I know in my heart of hearts that this is gonna work out for me. If nothing else, I have sharpened my writing skills almost to the point of perfection. I run a few blogs. And, admittedly, the little money I was earning on those didn't really motivate me.
But, seeing how well you can actually do here in such a short span of time has brought out my inner Hemingway. I have been writing like there is no tomorrow. And, it has been getting progressively easier. So, if nothing else, I know I can go back to my other blogs and crank out multiple articles a day without breaking a sweat. This was something I was not capable of doing before. I credit Steemit for rekindling this desire to succeed in the blogging space. Special shoutout to @dan. You the man dude! Lol.
The dream is alive folks! It's up to you keep pushing. Keep persevering. Don't worry about the potential rewards. In time, those will come. It's more important to follow your passion of writing now. The financial part will naturally fall in place. Do what you love and the money will come- like an unexpected love child.
One of my friends has a buddy who he believes is a billionaire. He asked his billionaire friend what advice he can give him on getting rich. The wealthy friend told him this,
"If you want to be rich, do one thing and be really good at it."
Those are words I live by. I am striving to be the best writer I can be. And, I have seen the growth exponentially in the three weeks I've been blogging here on Steemit. You can too. The more you write, the easier it becomes. The better you get and the more your account grows. It will also help you to become more well-rounded as a person too. With all the writing you will be undertaking, the research itself will help enrich you to become more educated daily. It's a win-win situation all around folks.
So, I challenge you to grow as well. Continue on this journey that you have set out on. Just make sure whatever you do, don't give up. Because quitters don't win and winners don't quit. If you keep going, you will be surprised at how far you have come. Remember, perseverance is key. You are already on the right path. Crypto Gawd, OUT!

so true and so important to just -be in the process -like little bloody buddahs. I went AWOL for 8 months and in that time my friends who have just kept chipping away ( and also really promoting and supporting others) have hit the STEEMIT jackpots bigtime.
