My very first pay ever on Steemit was from a comment.

I remember it was on a post about giving up your dreams and I gave my mindset for that:

Find a work that is your dream, if not find one that relates to it.

I got some cents, but they of course have a bigger value than that for me.

I was very frustrated when the change the voting system and how they handled the Steem Power. This lead to people upvoting comments less and less, thus less comments around and in fine less collaboration.

Now

... when my inspiration is low, I will wander around Steemit to be inspired. I usually comment on pretty much each post I read.

I actually forgot about the commenting reward until I got a nice surrpise gift of unclaimed rewards. They were way much than what I have been scraping from posting the last couple of weeks.
