👌🏼Steemit Website Improvement For Higher Quality Voting - What Would Happen If We Would Not Be Able To Vote Directly From Our Feed?

Hi fellow Steemians!

When I walked to the gym today I was checking Steemit and suddenly I realized something and asked myself a question: Why can I vote on a post directly from my feed?

That is a bit strange, right? Only when I read a post I am able to determine the quality of the content. So it would be logical to me if voting would only be possible on the page of the post itself...

Then I asked myself another question: What would happen if it was only possible to vote on a post on the page itself and not directly from my feed or other pages (new, trending, hot etc.)?

I came to the conclusion that it might be a nice improvement with some interesting effects. My quick thoughts are these:

• It might decrease the number of ‘blind’ votes (people that haven’t actually read the content of a post). Therefore, it might also decrease the total number of votes.
• The reward pool would be distributed to less, but higher quality votes.
• It would stimulate people to really read a post instead of immediately vote (to just get curation rewards for example).
• It might slightly increase the average time until the first vote occurs, meaning a relatively higher percentage of the money goes to the curators instead of the author.

What do you think? Would this be an improvement or would it have a negative impact? What other side effects do you predict?
