More Than a Month and 50 Followers Later: My Lessons in Steemit

in steemit •  8 years ago

Now I celebrate my more than a month's membership in Steemit. It was quite a wild ride and I would be a lying sonuvabitch if I did not say I liked it more than I hated it. Even though I lacked the financial capital to boost my Steem Power to make my posts more profitable, the best capital I have is still my brain. And it has enabled me to learn some lessons to make less mistakes in Steemit as a noob and continue on and enjoy it.

  1. Never treat Steemit like Facebook (obviously)
  2. Have a sense of humor in comments but moderate it so you won't hurt anyone. There might be a sensitive dumbass in there.
  3. Try to make posts that can attract the female Steemers. Not all Steemers are machos and geeks.
  4. Always refer to rules regarding post submissions. A Whale might have a bad day and take out his anger on you by flagging your post.
  5. Be polite and courteous.
  6. Never be discouraged! Steemit will reward you big someday.

I thank all of those who followed me and helped me here in Steemit. May you all be blessed and fortune go your way.
