Apart from a well written post with great content, there is one very important detail to be considered! The hour of the day at which you publish your post! It is very important that your post get's liked by a lot of people in the first hour.
So it is not very useful if you post it in the middle of the night, right? But what is the right time then?
Lets do some research and get some demographics. As you can see on this map most of the users are located in the USA.
Steemit started here, so the most of the users that are reading your article do live in this timezone and will be awaked and at the computer during this time period.
But there are different timezones in the USA itself.
So based on the timezones where the most users reside it would make sense to post your article at 7.00 am PST (on the West coast, pacific time ), this will the best time of the day to post your article and get the maximum exposure at the right time.
I would be great to start a discussion here, this is a subject not being argued about so far, what’s your opinion?
Please let me know.
I agree, one of the most overlooked factors of writing a successful post and and getting upvotes is the hour of the day, and where better to obtain this information than to look at demographics? - good point and well done!
