The market cap is still at over 400 million which is far too high in my opinion. Just 2 months ago it was mere cents. I do not think it is the right time to buy steem at all.
In fact if we look at last year, the price skyrocketed in July to around $5, and then down to just a few cents in November all the way until April/May of this year.
It would seem that today would almost be the worst time to buy steem, the past couple of days 'and july of last year' being the only times that have been worse.
I'd recommend people wait a few months, and actually watch the trends, buy volumes, and market cap. I believe the market cap should be at a max of maybe 100 million before buying would be smart.
