We are all early creators and curators. Steemit is so much at its infancy stage that it's still called BETA. Think a year from now how many more users will be on? As of writing this there are 27,120 accounts on STEEMIT. Some of which were hacked/locked out.

Invest what you can into Steem Power now(as long as you can afford it). Whether it's BTC, Ether, or BitShares until you have enough Steem Power to go idle and still receive at least 1 SP per day. I am guessing that is around 80 - 90 Steem Power as of writing.

Seeing your SP go up in value by a minium of one Steem Power per day will help motivate you to do more. It's the little incremental hundredths of SP that you never notice. And even thought I've only been using Steemit for less than a week most of the time I spent at the initial $10 signup range. Now I have momentum to keep me posting and creating content.

Most people are pumping the idea of being curators and upvoting popular posts or ones you think will be popular as the fastest way to make money. If you don't want to play the Blog Post lottery in hopes yours becomes trending.

Years from now you will still be ahead of everyone else just signing up and creating and curating every day. That's the great thing about Steem Power, it has exponential value - the more you hold the more you make faster.

Nice. But is it possible that steemit becomes similar to facebook. Like I would like to upload something in here. My profile pictures something else... ???

It's hard to say as it's still in beta. If I were to guess I would say maybe. But I think they want to keep it more simple as most of the info resides on the block chain but I guess it could work. I don't think the developers want to emulate facebook but more have something unique of their own.

Actually, this is a lottery game. No one can tell for sure where this all will be a year from now.

But like any lottery, I'd rather play when the odds are more in my favor. And a year from now that number will be significantly different.

You don't know the odds. Maybe is 6 month there will be something even more exciting and everyone go there.

Also it's nice because my votes already have some decent steem power.. at least on an already up-voted post. Where initially in the same aspect I would increase a .01 or .03 and now I've seen .12
