The best feeling ever? To volunteer by heart! World Food Day Outreach Program! The smiles of the street children is priceless! <3 ;))

Everyone is happy feeding, playing games, assisting the street children, giving prices to the kids. Everyone is happy and we all go home with a wide smiles on our face. These street children was been picked up by the Street Educators managed by City Social Welfare Development Center in Mandaue, Cebu City , Philippines where they get the site from the various areas. 

We made this event in line with @steemph.cebu project as one of our first event of doing volunteer works goal. Mission Accomplished! 

 The program starts with a prayer, we asked one street children to lead the prayer. It is heart-touching to hear such an angel praying for all. Followed by the Philippine's National Anthem. Next is the warm welcome of the Chief in charge of the department Mr Jessielito Perez. Afterwards we watched the video of World Food Day prepared by @itinerantph. 

The determination to eliminate world hunger thru the World Food Day program as an excellent campaign for health awareness. I was impressed by  volunteers selfless, humble and compassionate action made by loving intention, they are  open- minded enough to understand the needs and concerns of the world they live in. 

A total of almost 30 motivated volunteers attended in the said event. Some of them are steemians, engineering students, bankers and  teachers to name a few , aside from steemit support, they donated slippers and offers food too. 

 I wish all people are like this and a must to work together  incorporating education, clean water solutions by nutritionally feed them for  long-term basis, the world could have been a better place for a hungry-free world.

We prepared fun games: Dancing games with action, group yourselves game and forming the longest line. It was enjoyable that will tests the creativity of each child which includes teamwork.  Of course everyone wins and everyone deserves a price, we provided crackers, jellies and candies for them. :D

                        

After the games, we distributed the food and slippers. In the steemit lunch box, there is a cup of rice, fried chicken and vegetable lumpia together with fruit juice.

 We are glad that the food came on time , thank you for @queenjventurer's mother who cooked the food for the needy in a budget-wise lunchbox, without her we wouldn't make this event a success. Mission Accomplished! God bless! <3

We are so blessed for the full support of steemit community and for @steemph.cebu core leaders for making this event a great experience, we promise that we wouldn't stop helping on enriching lives for the poorest and we will continue doing this endeavor for the benefit of all.
