Steem Backed Dollars -- Backing the Bills -- The Reveal

in steemit •  8 years ago

About 2 weeks ago I started the sequel to [Steem Backed Dollars] project. The original project was started to put a fun face to Steem Backed Dollars. People seemed to like it so I decided to start a second project called Backing the Bills. The idea was to just make the other side of the bills so they would be complete. These are the results of that project.

And here are the individual backs:

As you can see I went with the use of historical steam devices for the backs. Loosely sorted in order by a combination of their power and date of invention. It wasn't easy fining stuff to fill in the last few bills. Had a few more ideas but pictures of them just weren't feasible for use. Things like the a Roman steam bath, steam powered rocket, and of course the first nuclear steam reactor. So you might be asking what could be powerful enough to be on the last back? Well steem and steemit of course.

And to finish off the set I had to do a back for @kyle's Tree Fiddy bill. This was actually an easy one to come up with and yes it was a real thing. Couldn't believe it myself. It also fits right in for the phoney bill. Accept it and your screwed.

Hope you enjoy them. They are free to use with credit. Here is the full set front and back.

Credit for the descriptions goes to Wikipedia.

Special thanks for @royaltiffany for ideas and feedback for the fronts and backs.

THEY ARE INCREDIBLE AND BEAUTIFUL!
I like them... Papa approves!

Thanks.

You're welcome. Thank you for the visual treat!

I loved the ones you came up with before, and these just add to the value of the bill!
Why not get a market for it, and lets use them offline!
We need to have a physical currency to go with the online version.
This could be a major offline market if we get the right people involved!
:D

I made this one myself:
