Adoption. @cryptoctopus is knee deep in Facebook, praising the benefits of #steemit to all users who care to listen. Various other exponents are singing it's praises on twitter and instagram. We're all building it from the inside out. BUT there is a huge market waiting for Steemit integration and it's the behemoth WordPress where significant attention needs to be directed.
5 GIGANTIC WORDPRESS FACTS 2016
- 76.5 million blogs
- 26% of all websites use wordpress
- 3 billion comments left on all wordpress blogs
- 50,000 WordPress websites added daily
- 22.3 billion monthly WordPress pageviews
So what's the solution? A simple WordPress plugin that can mirror posts and comments. Nothing more. It's a simple piece of code for the right talented person. The sooner we can get this happening then I strongly believe that uptake of new users will grow exponentially.
Imagine a web where 26% of all websites contain Steem articles.... Now that's something to get excited about.
Here is a proposal.. Steemit does have a public API. I'm not sure what @nextgencrypto needs.

Awesome news. So all this would take is for @dan or @ned or a couple of Whale curators to push this through with a bounty and it's on the table?
Personally, I run 5 WordPress websites and the ability to display my own content on there plus article and comments from other contributors suddenly opens up a while new world on possibilities for the Steem community.
The WordPress numbers are huge and for every website mirroring Steem content via a financial value proposition, the adoption would increase significantly.
