How can I earn quickly on Steemit? For newbies only!

So it's been 5 days I am using this platform and have learned a lot from a lot of people and posts. On the very first day, I thought "Oh great, I will earn almost $200 from my first post" and posted it, earned $2 till now and then started to look around how to make money here in a shorter period.

Fortunately, I soon realized that Steemit requires my attention and in return, it will give me what I want. So I decided to share my thoughts with you. I am writing this post just to let you guys know what I think works best to get the most out of this wonderful community.

Disclaimer: My post doesn't mean that below pointers are official but simply some suggestions from a newbie who thinks that these will help you in the longer run.

1. Don't think about earning for the next 6 months

It's time to invest our time and little pennies we get as rewards, don't expect hundreds of dollars within a few days, though some of the steemins were able to do so but be realistic. Not every one of us becomes an actor or sportsman but yes, hard work is something we all can do to earn hundreds of dollars and become rich one day, so be patient and consistent.

2. Don't do follow me and then I follow you

How much beggars earn in the US or any other developed nations? Do they earn hundreds or thousands of dollars in a month? The answer should be a must no. So I guess you get my point, don't beg anyone to follow you, try to post a creative yet interesting information that most of your target audience would like to read and they will surely follow you in return. This will also help you in building genuine followers who will comment on your posts in the longer run and consistently.

3. Be original

So one of the first ideas came into my mind after joining this platform "Hey, let's see the trending post and write about the same topic and I will be in trending section too". I was absolutely wrong, I love digital marketing, technology, graphic designing, want to speak on politics and current affairs, passionate entrepreneur who wants to train people and a future successful coder as well, so why should I post about health and food topics. I can't even write two sentences of my own how to make cupcakes. Yes, I have the ability to rephrase something that I read but then I will not enjoy my work and definitely, this is not something I do on my Facebook and Twitter accounts. So believe on yourself and write whatever you want and passionate about.

4. Upvotes and comment on  posts you like

I have noticed two types of newbies here, ones who only upvote and comment on people's post who have a huge followers and earning a lot of bucks, the other category includes those who upvote blindly. My question is why? Why should I give my upvote to a person who, as per my view, doesn't deserve my upvote? And why should I comment on a post I really don't like? Be honest and don't betray yourself just for the sake of earning some pennies. Give your upvote wisely to those who you think really deserve it.

So people, start planning for a long-term success rather than opting shot term tactics for a few dollars. There is a whole new life waiting for all of us, don't kill it yourself.

Love!

thanks for this post, some advises i already do and others sound like a good idea ..still all my posts are like 1 or 2 $ ..maybe because i am only one month in steem ...not sure ..but i am patient

We should be bro, we will be noticed one day for sure.

You are very right brother.

Thanks, bro.

Interesting points, im only on my second day on steemit but i think you are right, by voting on topics and articles that deserve it, allows the community to shape the future content to a degree.

Absolutely!

And still, now is a good time. A few months ago, 2 dollars was something, I had articles with 0.04$. Good luck!

I also have an article I wrote 4 days ago and the potential payout is $0.05 :P
But the key is consistency.

Keep writing for one month and I'm sure you will build an audience and thinks will be good.

I like the way you realistically narrated the situation rather than exaggeration. Nice post

I consider to be useful only the first point you made, the others I take them for granted and I cant comprehend why other people dont do the same. Like on instagram where you see full of tags like #follow4follow #followback #instalike and sh*t like that!
Cheers :)

Thanks for sharing good tips with us.
