I don't consider upvote bots "good bots" (except for the one I included in this list) so here are the other kinds of bots: - @cheetah: plagiarism detection (associated to @steemcleaners I believe) - @gentle-bot and @thing-2: upvote comments that they feel are good for the blockchain - @grammarnazi: helps you by finding the first grammatical error in your post and correcting it - @pocket-a and other Pocket accounts: a currency on the blockchain used to reward the author of a post you like a lot - @steemitboard: gamification on the Steem blockchain - @transparencybot and @botreporter: give you a list of the bid bots used on a post if they have been overused on the said post, also randomly upvote posts that weren't voted by a bid bot - @treeplanter: a voting bot that raises funds by selling its votes, those funds are used to plan tree ($1 = 1 tree)

There was once @twitterbot also which printed the content of a tweet contained in the post but it seems like it stopped its activity.

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.
