I thought it'd be boring stuff, just random crap that the people I follow push out.
I've been sorta avoiding it, only checking it a few times, while mostly just getting the articles I read from promoted posts in the chatrooms, such as #postpromotion-withconversation, or posts that are "New", and on the front page.
But upon opening my feed and reading some stuff, I instantly found quite a few interesting articles.
Quite a few! I'm very happy. I read about the cutest snail ever, from @voltarius, found out about how some smugglers in Russia built and paved their own road thanks to @anarcho-andrei, and even found a post on ukulele heavy metal, by @steemswede.
I guess that's what happens when you follow interesting people!
Your feed gets filled with interesting posts!
I'm not surprised, but I am quite charmed.
So the point of this post is to say to you: Check your feed! Make sure you follow good authors!
The joy of reading something great makes it worth it.

Just discovered the "follow" feature, so it makes sense to use it, btw, why the feed is not the homepage but it has a feed with everything? Perhaps they want to give exposure to all content, otherwise it is hard to find new writers and content, yet it can't work like this forever, at some point the homepage will be just like fb, twitter, etc.

I check mine regularly, because there is always something on there from someone I like or who puts out interesting work, and I love to add comments and provide feedback whenever possible. Especially on literary work, which comes from a good number of folks on my feed. :)
