Steemians, what did I tell you? - Interact, Make Friends & Have Fun! - The 3 best ingredients for Success on Steemit!

in steemit •  8 years ago
  • 7 new followers.
  • 19 new posts.
  • ~$20 in potential rewards.

That's my results, in 8 hours.

I try to reply to each and every single comment I get on my posts. I upvote others posts and I leave comments. I interact with others and I make friends, followers and cash from these simple things.

Sure, others might have way better results than me, but the most important part here, is not to compare myself with others. I've done that in the past, way to many times. - It never turns out good.

I will always be able to find others with way better results than me.. People with better social skills, writing skills, stories or people with more friends, followers or cars, kids or wifes than me. I will always be able to find people who's going on vacations 3 times per year meanwhile I'm stuck here in Sweden, at home. Working.

  • This is my journey and my way. Just like Naruto (from the famous Anime show) would say, - "This is my way of the Ninja!"

If you've read my most recent post [How I Reached Amazing Rewards on Steemit. [In-depth motivational post.], you'll see that I've mentioned some of the mistakes I've done during my time on Steemit.. - Somehow, I never really "bothered" to make friends on Steemit.. - I was 101% focused & dedicated to bring in new users to Steemit, instead of making friends on Steemit. - Shame on me!

One Man Army.. Or Not..

I saw myself as a one man army.. A nobody. - So I had to do everything myself. At all times.

  • I wrote & published posts on Steemit.
  • I wrote articles about steemit on marketplaces, internet marketing forums and other medias.
  • I talked about Steemit with everyone around me..

And I still do all of that.. And I will continue to do that. - However, I will also interact more on Steemit itself, to make friends & to establish myself as a great Steemian. As the great Steemian that I know I am.

Hang in there!

"Back in the days", Steemit was called a lottery. To some extent, I can see why. - That being said, don't be one of those guys. Don't come here with dollar-signs in your eyes.

The only thing you'll do, if you start writing to make "easy money", is to hurt yourself. - Sure, you might have insane, awesome and super-results on your very first post.. - And if you do, then I'm glad for you.

However, most people doesn't reach their reward-expectations.. - And if you're one of those guys, then you'll end up miserable. On the other hand, if you go big and "win the lottery", then you'll be so satisfied so you'll end up thinking to yourself: - "Wow, that's easy. Let's do another post!"

And your second post will disappear amongst all the other posts that are being created each minute. Which ultimately leaves you empty-handed. - That being said, publish posts because you want to share. Because you want to contribute. Publish posts because you care about what you publish. - That's how you'll end up with good results. It might take time, but people will find you.

Be consistent. Publish good posts. People will find you.

I will continue to do what I do.. - I will continue to publish posts, vote & comment on other people's posts. Let's call it "my experiment". However, this so called "experiment", will be lasting forever. - Because I know it will turn out great!

Excellent post you've created here, @hitmeasap! How very true. I life your Gif's . A lot of people have come into steemit with the mindset of making money, but that will take time. Just like you stated, 'killer posts' are not always attained. Personally, what I've noticed in my 2-month journey in the steemit ecosystem is that I create 'killer posts' twice a week. The phrase 'killer post' is relative, though. Thank you so much for sharing. Upvoted.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". - And that goes on Steemit too. Good quality content, is not what you or me think. All that matters is, what others people thinks about the content you publish.

I mean, a make-up tutorial made more than $30,000 last year. - Sure, it was the first make-up tutorial and it was a fresh, new & cool thing that got shared.. In all honesty though, $30K seems pretty ridiculous when you see tons of high quality posts multiple times per day, with slim to none earnings.. But hey, I'm just one guy, with 1 thought. Steemit is an ocean of people, with thousands of thoughts.

I agree with you Steemit is an ocean of people, with thousands of thoughts. I tell myself that I am in STEEMIT SCHOOL. Honestly, I have shared as much as I can so far and have learnt a lot more.

Thanks for the encouragement, it is good advice- especially the part about writing things you are passionate about. I have a lot to learn!
My husband's family is from Sweden and our son has used Rosetta Stone to learn the Swedish language. I love to hear him speak it! Upvoted, Followed you.

Wow, that's awesome. Which part of Sweden, do you know? :)

I don't really know any part of it but my husband's family is from Delarna, I think. The name is Blomberg. We would love to come and visit Sweden someday. Have you ever been to the US?

Hey, I'm new. Thanks for the post! Post such as this are very encouraging. Following/upvoted @hitmeasap
