Writing articles about topics you don't understand or have experience in. - The do's and don'ts.

How To Get Your Piece of The Pie

Hundreds of people creates websites with one intention. - To make money off of them. A lot of these people are doing this even if they don't know the niche well or even if they don't have a clue about the topic they're writing about. Some of these people are doing this with zero experience and with a slim to none chance to make something good out of it.

They do this because of the high paying advertisers who are already pushing millions through PPC platforms and banner advertising platforms each month and they want their piece of the pie. - These people have high hopes and nothing more than wishes. - They are delusional.

You've probably heard the saying: "Content is King".

Content is king, but if you're trying to profit from a niche you're not familiar with.. - Is it even possible?

You can always hire various article writers to write the content for you. - It's easy and you don't have to do much yourself except one thing. - Pay the writers for the content. - That will obviously get very expensive if you don't limit the amount of posts. If you want to publish new content daily.. Well, then you'll have to pay for it.. And something like that would be expensive.

The same goes for your steemit journey to be honest.

The best way to get content for your website or to publish content on steemit for instance, even if you don't have any particular experience about the topic, is to write the content yourself. - At all times.

Take a look at your competitors blogs and websites. Read, learn and copy the content. Paste the article you found in notepad and rewrite it. Don't just change a few words. Change every sentence. Change everything. Rewrite the whole article in your own words. - This requires effort and it takes time, so it doesn't work for people who tries to cut corners by using article spinners.

Make the content your own.

If you rewrite articles this way you'll also make the content your own. You will be the original author of the article. By doing so, it will rank well in the search engines over time. - And that's what website owners are looking for. They want visitors. They need traffic!

If you just copy an entire article and publish it exactly how it is you'll be penalized.

  • Google might penalize you for doing this.. And the same thing will happen on Steemit.

You will get downvoted. You will lose credibility and your reputation will be negatively affected. - You will ruin your chances of becoming an established user. - Don't risk everything due to a stupid copied post!!

Don't copy others!

I've experienced this myself actually. Right here on Steemit.
BEWARE OF "STEEMITCHAT" - This is the worst thing I've ever encountered online. Ever! - [STEEMIT FRAUDSTER]

The post above goes into detail about a user here on Steemit who actually stole my entire post, and published it as his own. He changed 1 thing alone. He swapped my name for his and published it! - It's terrible. Luckily, that user never earned a single cent on his theft. - The main reason I got very upset over this was due to the reason that I shared personal things about my life. I shared things about my fathers death for instance and this guy claimed it to be his story...

If you're one of the people looking for a "quick fix" and to "cut corners"

Hire a writer and make them do what I've stated above. That way you'll be able to pay them less per article since they can find the content on a different website and the writer you've hired only has to reword everything so they deliver a unique article. - The writer you decide to work with don't need experience in the niche either, so you can literally choose to work with whoever you want. - However, I wouldn't go with the most affordable writer as it usually tend to be poor quality.

The best part of this..

When you've published your post, on your blog or on steemit.. You'll have one thought. That thought is:

"I just rewrote someone elses words and now I profit off of it."

The last thing I would like to add is that I don't encourage people to rewrite articles and to post them on steemit. I encourage people to write their own stories and nothing but their own. That's one of the coolest things with steemit. - You can be you and you can get rewarded for it, no matter if you're an expert or not!

Oh, my God, what a topic have you touched! It is very important, indeed. But I want to share one-two examples from my experience.
The first is as follows. Once my client had orderd me 30 articles about... lift shafts. I have no idea how do they work. I have no idea about the technology. I am a "pure humanitarian".
Seeng my doubts, he asked one question only: "Do you write in Russian?" I agreed. He added: "So, don't worry, they are in Russian. You will!" And I DID. I had no way out and I needed money. Sure it was a bang to my brains, and I spent much time studying how does it really works. Now I have no idea again, how does it work, but I wrote rather good articles and the client was glad.
Next example.
One more task was about hotels in Thailand. Something about 200 articles. I have never been in Thailand. Some time later intelligence service could use my knowledge. I could explain "what, where. and when" about that hotels even being suddenly awakened at night))) Now again, I am not sure, that I know much about them. But, I can not say that the work was not interesting and I got a pleasure from it. Thank you for your interesting post!

Nice article, and from my experience on steemit this is so true. People look for new content on everything so no matter what your into share and the rewards will surely come. Steemit also I found helps push you to try new things, look to whats working and whats not. Learn from and assimilate other content, mash up with your own perspective to create the new. Almost like a rapid development platform, you know in a few hours if its working or not.

I have no expertise in writing, art is more my bag but I have already tried a story story. Without much success, but thats not the point just trying it in the first place is the win.

followed =)

It's funny to read. Writing articles about anything. Even if you have no ideas how it works. Journalists are successful in this very often. )

Good information. It's so important to be yourself and write about what you understand.

Great post!!! It will definitely inspire and guide a lot of steemers to learn how and what to write. Keep sharing @hitmeasap

Copying content, even if you reword it entirely, is still cutting corners... because otherwise you'd need inspiration to write something, and by copying others you cut that particular corner.

Thanks God, at least I get 3cents for every post. :P
