    Hey @holisticlia!
    If you are looking at the value of your SP in US$ that is at the bottom of the wallet, that will go up and down depending on the market price for Steem$. :)
    No one can actually change your steem $ etc once its in your wallet. Downvoting will only reduce the SP award on a post BEFORE its been paid out... so within the first 7 days of posting. ;)

      Hey @thecreativerebel! So sorry for the late reply!
      Thank you for clearing up how downvoting works. I think I became a bit paranoid after reading some posts about downvoting comments and posts that don't meet others' level of quality.
      However, I realized it's the delegated portion of SteemPower that has decreased (I usually just look at SP on Steemnow.com).
      I am still a bit confused on what causes the fluctuation because it had decreased even when Steem was increasing shrugs.
