Indonesians continue to make the same mistake over the years. They do not speak Indonesian (as Venezuela does not speak Venezuelan-they speak Spanish or China speaks Chinese-they speak mandarin). In any case, in Indonesia people speak Malay. Some person, wrongfully, many years ago adopted the word Bahasa as the speaking language. Which is NOT. Bahasa means LANGUAGE. "Malay is spoken in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, parts of Thailand and southern Philippines. Indonesia and Brunei have their own standards, Malaysia and Singapore use the same standard."
