Hear ye.... Hear ye......

All Followers and fellow members of the Steemit.com community.

The Miller Klan has within its rights brought about these fundamental resolutions at the meeting held on 04 July in the year of our good Lord 2017.

Unlike typical admin freaks or try hard legal like proceedings where we must have “Minutes of the meeting“ etc etc etc, these are quite simply and bluntly the “Resolutions“ brought about through extensive and very lively discussions about things that matter to us.

One of the main topics was STEEMIT.com

Yes, believe it or not, we are taking this very seriously!

After a few weeks of testing it and playing around, doing things as we did on Twitter where we had a couple of profiles each and so on, we agreed that we need to sit down and discuss what is at hand here and how we are going to approach it.

So we did.

& without any further a due,
The “Fundamental Points Agreed Upon” are:

1 - Steemit is not quite like Facebook nor Twitter.

It does have some aspects that are similar, which is understandable, after all this is a social network and the platform supports users who have brought their habits and behavioural manners with them from the above mentioned social network sites and from many other sites that we have not mentioned here.

2 - Steemit offers a unique opportunity for users to make earnings.

Hence, the approach here needs to be looked at from a financial point of view, in fact to go one step further; we need to take a more professional approach to this opportunity. We may be enjoying ourselves on a social network, but this is a different crowd here, there is money involved.
So we need to find a balance between pleasure and business here on Steemit.

3 - “TOP” = Transparent & Open Posting, shall be our approach here on Steemit.

If there is one thing that we learned on the other sites mentioned earlier, there is no need to go out and do a bunch of work under different user names.
There are three of us in the family who are over 18 (man does that make me feel young again, lucky my Mrs is far away, probably would have got an elbow to the ribs for this!!!!!)

Back to the point,

There are three members of our family who are over 18, my wife, our son and myself. So there is no reason for us to hide this fact or to deny that we each have a profile of our own here.

Why deny the truth?

Shall we be watching out for each other? Of course we shall.

Shall we be sending each other messages via Viber or Skype and asking the person at home to log in and post something for us? Of course we shall.

So unlike our approach on the before mentioned sites, we here are a family and a team and as such have nothing to hide as per the use of our profiles.

Maybe we can’t anonymously jump in and gang bash someone, but if we had wanted to do that we wouldn’t have the user names we have, would we now!

Likewise, there is nothing wrong with doing business as a family, especially when using the principle of “TOP” social networking!

4 - Investing and Profit Sharing.

As there is a profit making opportunity here we have decided that we need to make a profit sharing module by which others can make money too.
Not just the curation & author rewards, but we intend to go the extra mile, give that little bit extra from and of ourselves so that every cent, every dollar gets turned over more than once and that more people get to enjoy some of the profits that are being turned over.
We need to take the same approach as far as our investing goes. Any and all direct cash investments need to be done in a manner that ensures the utmost is achieved with those funds and we by no means are limiting this to “best exchange rates”.

5 - Networking

One thing that we have learned on other sites and has to us proven to be a sure win/win method for everyone. No matter if that person now be a small fish in the pond or is already on their way to becoming a Whale.
We have a technique that we have used elsewhere and to date seems to be working the same way here. Sure the process takes from a minimum of 4 to maximum 6 months and needs to be repeated over and over again, regardless of the number of followers one has.

So we do not intend on changing a good thing that has proven itself to be productive.
Lets not forget, from all the small fish out there, some do grow up and become big mothers! Fish that can scare the hell out of any fisherman!

Conclusions:

A lot of work awaits us and upon these 5 fundamental conclusions that we have unanimously brought and put into power, we shall now go ahead and put together individual implementation plans for the three of us.

Again with mutual input and through constructive and proactive discussions.
