Yea its a really interesting concept, and I'm trying to make sence of the whole thing. Youtube actually has a similar thing, but they call it "Promoting your video". This is where they, since they have full control of their site, place your video higher up on searches, and spotlight them so they get more visibility. It costs a varying amount of money, and gets placed according to how much you put in. BUT at the end of the day, you're paying for "views/upvotes" and its an interesting subject to bring up.
