So I read @ogochukwu posts yesterday about how Facebook is now a wasteland… although he did not say that literally but that was the message I could get from it and I wanted to give reasons why I also agree with that.
Good day lovely steemians. Today I will be sharing briefly 3 reasons I think everyone should focus on steemit and stop wasting time on other places in the internet.

Of course it is real and not a dream, I mean it is real in the sense of the people, the community, the love and the relationship. I can’t remember the last time I said hello to someone; a supposed friend on Facebook and I got a reply back. Facebook and other social media have turned into a place where people rate themselves via videos and photos they upload and the likes they receive. Unlike steemit where you are rated by your hard work and perseverance and also your relationship with the community.

With the current rise in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, where do you see media like Instagram in the next 5years when @appics is coming like a wild fire. Why do you have to open a blog or a website and start looking for traffic when you can have that on steemit and still interact with you viewers. Why have a YouTube channel when dtube give you what you want faster and with more reward? The steem blockchain has not even been utilize to half of its potential so this is the best time to jump on the train.
Steemit is all encompassing.

Like I said the steem blockchain have not been utilized to half of its potential. Steemit, dmania, dtube, dlive, what else?? Everything thing that makes up the today’s social media is there for you and easy to get. Let me also include steemitchat; I made a lot of friends there while I came here newly, in fact that was where I learnt about spam comments. If organizations of the world can see the benefit of this, they would hurry down with the speed of light and get hooked up here. Let’s say a media organisation like BBC has a steemit account where they update their steemians with their news updates instead of twitter, their reward/upvotes will be outrageous. It gives a bigger and better opportunity for organisations to make more profit.
A good example will be: if I have an online retail shop where people get stuffs and pay with steem. The price of item A will be 2Steem and when sold, that 2steem which may worth $10 can shoot to $20 dollars. Sure there will be bad moments but its business and all business have bad moment so they could gather new momentum/ ideas and push forward.

Interesting. The part that got me was about how organizations can use steemit as a means of revenue. Truly, the purpose of facebook has really been abused. Adding to what you said about it being a place where people now rate themselves, personally i also see it as a place where people now come to save some pictures. It has its advantages though. well done

in my opinion I think steemit has marked the difference of many platforms,
steemit allows you to be free with your art, leaving us to see original, creative and protagonists of what is done.
