A friend of mine and I went to a few bars last weekend and I managed to sneak Steemit into the conversation. I started slow, but tried getting him to sign up then and there. His response when I put his phone on the sign up screen?
"I'll look into it later, man. Why don't you text me the name of the site?"
People are just so suspicious nowadays. But given the spam, junk mail, and scams that are out there I don't blame them too much. It's just that Steemit is such a great opportunity... I don't want my loved ones to miss out on it! But you know what they say. You can lead a horse to water....
Anyway, on the good side I've got two people with accounts on. For those of you who've read my other posts in this series you'll know them as the online friend and the Cirque du Soliel girl. I'll be sure to resteem their intros... as soon as I get them to post.
