Over a month ago, I was in a chat somewhere. I was complaining
About having to log in so much, and at seemingly random
Intervals.
The person I was conversing with convinced me that "KeyChain"
Was the way to go; as in normal internet traffic, there are apps
That keep all your passwords and usernames safe and in one place.

sounded good

Only, I began having to log in EVERY MORNING to KEYCHAIN
which just as often as not said I had the wrong PW to log in.

I hadn't changed anything. I have a word.doc saved with all my
Passwords etc... so I know (and I checked) that I was typing correctly.

So I grew suspicious

I removed the keychain ext from my browser.

But then, I got to thinking, whoever runs KeyChain,

¡¡¡HAS MY KEYS!!!

So I went for help, asking about changing my master key.

when I joined Steemit, it was ground into us that our master keys were to be guarded at all cost,
That no one under any circumstances could EVER be allowed access you key.
|And if you LOST IT, you were out of luck

So I went to steemchat. I value their knowledge and expertise.
@timcliff has been of great, invaluable and instructive help
To me many times.
I was able to go and generate a NEW STEEMIT MASTERKEY
which in turn, changes all the other keys.
great!
It all looked good on paper, but in practice, I am having to login
to EVERY DAMNED THING every time I turn away from my computer
For a few minutes.

So then I'm told to go to log in to my steemit wallet.
I've NEVER had to log in to my steemit wallet.

esteem hasn't let me post nor redeem my points

Finally, I got IT to let me log in and post.

And all this, because I was concerned for my account SECURITY!!!!
