Should I get A Part Time Job? Or Steemit ?

Ok so I've been thinking, I'm in sitting at home looking for a part time job to help cover expenses and full my online business. So far I only can fine things that need me to work during day, evening and nights, and when they want me to. I can't find anything that fits my schedule, and pays me above minimum wage. Also I can't find something that doesn't take up all my time on the weekends and holidays. WHICH A PART TIME JOB DOES.

After being on Steemit for about 2 weeks now, and seeing that it does payout a bit here and there (still haven't figured it out yet). There are some benefits and some disadvantages. Lets weight the two options out.

Pros and Cons of a Part Time Job

Pros:
Get paid every two weeks
I have steady flow of income coming in
My bills get paid
I can save for a trip or retirement
I can save for car (another expense)
Eventually I can pay off my debt
Stay in the rat race even longer
There might be some benefits for medical and dental
I don't have to think too much when working for someone else

Cons:
All of my free time will be taken away (weekends and Holidays)
Taxed out my ass because I made too much (another expense)
Get stressed out
Go mental
I spend more because I make more
I don't have time to learn about online business and crypto currencies
I hate working for someone that controls 90% of my life
I might have to work with annoying co-workers
I have to give reason as to why not going into work (sick, drank too much, partied too hard, became a dad, shit like that)
I have to ask for holidays and wait for it to be "ok'd" by someone else
Be told when to have a break and lunch
I might have to dress professional
I really am not getting ahead in life
Theres no financial freedom and more importantly I cannot create time freedom

So what do you think? Any of the top relate to you? Lets now have a look at the pros and cons with Steemit.

Steemit Pros & Cons

Pros:
I can create content when I want about what I want
I could make money, and if my content is valuable, I could potentially make a lot of money
I have a strong Steemit community that help other Steemit users
There is a possibility that Steemit could set me free from the rat race
Steemit can be traded to Bitcoin and then into USD (I'm Canadian, which makes me more money when changed to Canadian dollars)
Helps me be more creative when it comes to creating online content
I can do this from anywhere in the world from a lap top

Cons:
The payouts can be small at first (like it is now)
I have trouble thinking of valuable contact to write and people will up vote ( please up vote :D)
For Canada, it's a little harder to find a way to convert Bitcoin to Canadian currency for cheap and fast
Finding it hard to find away to speed things up with Steemit (please let me know if you have any ideas)

Conclusion

So in conclusion I have a chance to make a full time income from Steemit, if I stay the course, not lose my mind and I can keep all my time to do other things. Those things are the most important to me right now in life. Also for any new Steemit users, please be aware you might not strike it rich on your first post, This will take time, effort and energy. But try to have fun doing it. So I want to say goodbye to the old ways of making money, and hello to Steemit! !

My advice is work to your current reality. And build up from there. I say, get a job and phase it out as you phase in a passive income from something like Steemit. It's good to have goals, but work with your real situation. Use the income to build a strong base and then replace the source when you are in a strong position. Also, the extra cash can be used to invest in other asset classes as well, outside of cryptocurrency. #diversify

One thing I always tell my clients when I give them business advice is "only change your idea when you have a better one in place". So many of them want to change out of a failing business with no idea of what they will change into. Not saying this is your case, but same rules apply.

hey thanks for the advice ! Ya it makes sense not to jump out of a boat and into the water lol but I'll definitely consider working at my full time till I get things going on Steemit.

A tree builds its base to support future growth. Grow your base sideways and the rest will take care of itself. Bite the bullet for 6 months and work on your Steemit / other source of income at nights. You will be twice as motivated and you won't be in a vulnerable position. Good luck with the empire building.

Thank you for the idea. I upvoted you :)
