💲I cashed out some of my steem last week out of the necessity to pay my rent of 1,100.00 dollars ! Yippee ! Thanks to steemit I am not currently living out in the steets as theres 0 vacancies here in Kelowna , hence the very high rents for just a 2 bedroom apartment which i share the cost of . I was able to cash out the first 3 weeks of my powerdown of ( 2754 steem I ended up with 1,100.00 dollars Canadian !! ) It was a very daunting task as you can imagine ! It being my first time opening up a wallet and account on poloniex as well ! But in the end it was very successful !! IF I CAN DO IT S A NOOB IN THE CRYPTO WORLD ! SO CAN YOU !! 👍🚀 I originally did join for the money ! As I have a small piece of property an hour from Kelowna in the country , up in the mountains . That I really want to build a little house on , quit my boreing security job , and like many of you Retire and live happily ever after , blogging on steemit of course as im totally addicted now ! Lol ! Going fishing , gardening , ATV rideing and perhaps doing some hunting with my boyfriend , a deer goes a long way to feeding us through the winter months ! So at 54 retireing early is possible now ! And as steem rises so does my dreams !
But the more people and followers I started meeting and all the wonderful and very helpful steemians that i have met over these 9 months , I have come to realize that its the community more then the money that will keep me blogging on steemit , well into my retirement future !! After reading and watching videos online titled "I made 500 dollars on my first post!" and I only made an average of 6 cents for my first 5 posts. I started to get highly discouraged, and almost quite. Now I'm starting to get a little following, enjoying the community, and a little money is starting to trickle in.

What a wonderful story you tell here. This is great. I know some people who can really use a succes story like this. People who lost faith in the system. Having trouble figuring out how to continue their lifes, because they have financial problems. But at the same time have qualities that can be very valuable on this platform.
I cannot convince these people to join. They will look into it, but don't take that (small) step to actually open an account. I decided to stop convincing these people. Telling them there might be a way out and point in the right direction is all I do. The rest is up to them.
But this post will be my final attempt. I'll let them read it and if that does not convince them, nothing will! :-)

Thanks for this advice, I had noticed this and I decided to ignore in my mind the ups and downs as it is a real market and no plunge protection team there for us which is good as in the stockmarkets etc... they have this mechanism and this is going to cause much misery for many people when this fails. This is why I am very excited to be here and to the genius of the creators as I have looked and tried so many internet things and never felt right, this is very easy and meeting great new people like yourself and able to earn as well.
