Hidden Beauty

Her smile is addicting from the

Inside, like soldiers fighting battles

Upon my heart.

Covering my eyes, I try

To smile back In hopes that my weakness

For her beauty isn’t shown, but yet carried

Through me like a marching band

Waiting for that perfect moment.

Looking upon those beautiful eyes, I

Find myself to be locked, frozen in time

With every ounce of air turning into

Pins and needles within the pit of

My stomach.

Hypnotized by that look

In her eyes, I can feel the beating

Of my heart lose all control. Leaving me

Twisting and turning through emotions

Worth a thousand words.

Taking a deep breath,

A smile rises upon my face

To cover all signs of truth worth seeing

In this moment of time. For a single smile

Holds all truth behind it’s beauty, holding

Only one true secret meaning.
