This is Frustrating...

in steemit •  7 years ago  (edited)

My work gets a lot more interaction and reach on other social media platforms. Some of the articles that are getting high payouts are not original content.

I'm making art non stop and have been able to do things I've only dreamed of. On other platforms, it seems like more people are reaching out for a collaboration or a commissioned piece. Why is my art worth 1K in physical form vs .07 on steem. Why is it that I'm invisible on this sight and flourishing on others?

Don't worry you're new. Keep posting good content and the people will follow. I'm new as well and I'm getting some traction on my posts. Some of the people that are getting good payouts have been on the platform for months maybe a year. Be patient you'll create a following in no time!

Welcome to Steemit! You are now being followed!

This is one of the most warm welcomes I have received on this platform so far. Have a beautiful night/day

@kindabyss you have to increase your steempower, in order to earn more.

That's understood, thank you. I guess I should be more patient... have a good day.

yeahh!

I can see that we joined Steemit around the same time & if your story is anything like mine - your friends/followers from other platforms are not here.

This means starting over to build that following here, why not reach out to other artists, enter into competitions and spend some time in chat. It might feel like a lot of effort but I'm certain that it will improve the performance of your posts.

I hope that you'll stick around and that things will improve for you.
