far better than the articles at times!

Depending on the article posted by the author, when you read the comments, the story really unfolds, diverts and draws you deeper into thoughts and possibilities.

The author has a specific mindset and mission to share a thought or thing to others, that thought or thing takes the authors time to detail, emote or illustrate their tie to it. But this is only one person sharing their personal perspective and therefore limited in scope.

But when questions or observations are made by others that are "VESTED" in the story and want to clarify or share their thoughts or feelings on it, that is when the real grow occurs (in my opinion).

Educational System

I use Steemit mostly for education, looking for information new to me in many areas. Whether it is news, technology, science, art, health, or just human effort... something I was without before, now gained from another sharing valuable ideas and information.

This is what I try to add to the Steemit Platform as well (with slight divergence from time to time)... but the input from others in real relation to the offerings are what I really value more. How people see it and how they would expand, change or add to it, for me is invaluable.

What can't accomplished with this sense and sharing of community?

EXCEPT!

The inevitable, awful, mindless mindset and programming of the dreaded "Facebooker" and now even more dreaded beggars onslaught. This is where the comments are filled with folks that post a blob... I mean blurb like: "Nice Post, Upvote Me"... or "Follow me I Follow You"... and they do not even upvote the post itself!

To those folks I say... break those bad habits and join the communal realm of a new social media Steemit! That is the way you will grow and gain followers... through actual sharing of votes and a real comment that shows you actually read the post and it moved you to act and be a part of it.

You build community (for yourself) only by being a more integral part of that community, collecting followers is not the way to build a community, a following or the income you are working to gain... you will not.

Add your comments with real value!

Ok so, if a person writes just - nice post! - you think it is bad? Are you serious? Also, i met already a few people that asked me why didnt i upvote their post, since i replied to it. I wasted my time explaining them that i had a low voting power and i couldnt upvote anymore. Besides, instead of friendly answering with - youre welcome - or something like that, some people choose to complain about it.

Not bad as I understand they are trying to build their own community... but if that is all they do in an attempt to become a part of a community... well think of it this way:

You live in a small fishing village... and the people of the village work all day to build that village for everyone. You have fishermen that bring in the food, the growers that increase that supply to maintain better diet and health, you have those that make clothes, shoes, houses, sing, dance and create pleasure all for the villagers.

Then there is someone that just stands around saying nice fish, nice tomato, nice shes... but otherwise does not contribute to the ecosystem of that village.

They will never become an integral part of that village without the full effort and support of the villagers.

All I am saying is if you wish to be an integral member you need to support it fully. Words are cheap, it is in the support that we grow.

The kind words (if actually meant) of course have value... as yours, but you should only expect words back.

Thank you for the opportunity to expand this idea a bit.

That is a very nice point of view. Thank you for taking your time to reply. I do not agree with the people that just spam comments without maybe even reading the full post. Ofc, a detailed reply has more value since it gives you more feedback. I like the way youre thinking. Followed you. :D Have a nice day!

Yes sir and that was my original intent for today's writing... the more people engage, they better things get. Thank you for your upvote.

you are very welcome! keep up the good work!

That is very true I may read an article and not understand fully on certain matters , but the comments help me to analayze the article in a deeper sense , and that's what I love , it's like team work to understand the little bits and pieces

It really helps to flush the details out to make better decisions or see different viewpoints... think of all the discoveries that were made from analysis and communal effort.

agreed, just like a person looking at a 6 from one side and the other side , the person sees it as a 9. It's all about perspective. Just because we may think we are right doesn't mean it's always fully correct

That's really true sometime reading comments and asking suggestion ideas give us a more better view from other person point of view which really help in constructive way :)

I am hoping enough people post this to those that do not understand it. I have seen a couple of posts now that do... maybe we will whittle it down and in turn help people, help themselves.

"You build community (for yourself) only by being a more integral part of that community" You are so right.

We should stop spammers!

It is not just stopping spammers, it is educating people to what works and what does not.

What works is working as someone that found worth in a post and wanted to show that to the author.

Or if they contested the article, writing their ideas of difference.

Be Engaged

Thank you for your upvote... you are learning as you go.

Yes, you are right, but people are so lazy to learn..to read.. Your post deserve more! I will receive some more SP in delegation and I will start manually curating all good articles!

I can't wait

Your blog tells that you already have the idea... and are not waiting, you are building.

Thanks for the continued support... and comments... I am following now.

PS I used to follow many, but it just serves to clog up my feed. But when someone is engaged and feels the community, I begin to follow them.

As a newbie I am trying to be consistent posting more than 3 times daily, in future I am planning to make maximum 2 posts daily with an enhanced quality.

It's my pleasure!

I see the more successful (if you will) folks on Steemit, add less in quantity of posts, but instead place more into them. I rather have 1 Bitcoin than 10 XYZ coin.

I would choose one bitcoin too! But first I need more coins so I can sell it for one bitcoin :D

Great to see people use steemit to learn. I do like to state to be cautious and check the data you gain. Alot of people on the internet do always have there facts straight.

I strongly agree! We need to bring SteemIt and rewards to the comment section.

Well if the comment is actually engaged it is, like Karma in a way...you get what you give.

Thanks for the article, a good balance between text and images. ;)
Stay awesome!

Case in point.

the problem is when you find the writer on a side et the comment is on another side , many people don't read but just comment to get an upvote and that's not help this community to improve , i like very much your little story in the comment ( villages and lazy fisherman ) you have an awesome way to express your idea , for me this platform is a great way to improve my english and other skills , sorry for my english , i do my best:)
