Some cross-marketing...

I posted this on Mewe, and I was so pleased about it, that I wanted to repost it here. I am Loki Smirenski there. Please feel free to repost it elsewhere, derive it to your own presentation, or other. This idea for eliminating IP sources for transmitting transactions provides all the benefits for full node operators to get the benefits of Tor without anything more.

I just had to share this one. I have figured out that blockchains and bitmessage-like systems both eliminate the traffic analysis receiver location discovery threat vector. If the transactions are relayable between nodes in the blockchain/bitmessage system, using onion routing, it can become impossible to the know which IP originated a new transaction.

I am going to have to post this idea to the zcash forum as well. This would close the last gap in the security such a cryptocurrency system will permit. All blockchains can implement this kind of onion routed transaction relaying system. It is the smaller part of the data the network transmits, far smaller. Sharing blocks is the predominant activity in a blockchain network system.

I am trying to come up with a catchy name for blockchain systems like bitmessage. They are self-trimming, lowering the cost of operation, and suit transient message sending. Transient Blockchain perhaps? Its contents are expired and allow a smaller resource requirement or shorter, faster, immediate or fast transmission. Namechains are equally low cost. Steem is going to have a name system soon.

When you fall down all the rabbitholes with me, you will see just how goddamned fast this is going to advance. Bitcoin transactions with built in user-programmable request obfuscation relaying. Nobody will know, except you control the secret. All cryptocurrencies could add it to their protocol. This is an innovation that dramatically changes the landscape, and will make you see why I am saying Steem is way downstream. With messaging, email, groups, inventory and order management, escrow. Why leave the Steem network? It will provide so many features that it will be like a frickin consumer black-hole.

The last one, the initial premise, and the most genius part of the design, is how I got so fast sucked into this. Yes, I crave, desperately IM and group messaging and email and leaving this cleartext world behind. But I am not alone, and people will pay me to speak their minds for them. As they will also for me.
