They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and how true that is! I like to seek out the beauty in most things, and LOVE it when it is just right there staring me in the face! The world is huuuuge and I've a lot of seeking to do! How about you?!
Oh Ireland, how I want to explore more of you! I've always 'had a thing' about Ireland and always wanted to go! I think it started with the accent - wow what is it about the Irish accent, makes me all flustered! Haha! Anyway!! I was lucky enough to spend my 21st birthday (a few years ago, shhh lol!) in Dublin with my best friend, and we had a GREAT time! We mostly hit the shops, had some lovely meals and of course spent the evenings in the pub! Hahaha!

The Temple Bar is pictured above, which we couldn't find at first! It was located at the bottom of the street, and of course, we didn't think to keep walking! We were having too much fun in the other surrounding pubs! The atmosphere was just how you would expect - lots of drunk fellows! Haha! The streets were filled with buskers playing some AMAZING music! And all the pubs had bands playing folk music, I for one could NOT sit still!!
I remember taking this photo (not suggesting my memory may have been compromised or anything ;) lol) above as they were playing the famous 'Galway Girl' by Steve Earle, which also appears in the very touching movie 'P.S I Love You' (worth a watch, but make sure the tissues aren't too far from reach!)
For those that are wandering, here's the song with a little montage from the movie...
After LOTS of walking we found a quaint little pub called Finnigans, and I LOVED it! The decor was very quirky and you could just tell it was the locals place to be!
Another pub we found ourselves in (oh and they had some lush cocktails!)...
This was another awesome pub with great vibes!! Perfect for having a craic as they say in Ireland (meaning a good time/fun)!
We stayed at a lovely hotel called The Spencer Hotel, where we had breakfast in the mornings and on the day of my birthday we headed downstairs to the spa for a BACK MASSAGE and used the jacuzzi #heaven ๐โโ๏ธ๐
Could get used to waking up to this!

It was a day well spent!
That evening we headed off into the town and to the pubs! We met some great people and had some rather interesting yet random conversations, of which I won't forget! We were asked by a couple of guys what we thought the meaning of life was! We were seriously having this conversation outside Temple Bar at silly o'clock in the morning, but I was really enjoying myself and it's these moments that I love! They were asking everyone, and then it got to my turn and for once I didn't know what to say. Sooo many responses were going through my mind but the rule was you were only allowed 1 answer! I believe my answer was HAPPINESS. They wanted eccentric answers, though happiness (in my opinion) is pretty damn eccentric and we are blessed to feel such emotion and make it happen for ourselves - that is what lifes all about!
Oh, and this apparently! ๐๐
