Steemit platform had some problems lately with DDoS attackers (intentional webpage overload). This caused some problems with posting and voting. I think this had been properly dealt already.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
