How About a Favorites Button?

in steemit •  8 years ago  (edited)

Hello all. I am here today wondering if we can use a favorites button to make sure we don't miss out on our favorite blogs. Just favorite your most loved steemians and they show up at the top of your feed when you open it.

I follow 328 people at present and although I enjoy many of the posts, I usually look for my favorites first and this takes a lot of hunting sometimes. If we added a ⭐favorite button, I think it would solve this dilemma.
Also, we should have a # suggestionbox that the devs read and maybe use some of our suggestions. Maybe a reward for using such suggestions? 😉

I believe a "Favorite" button or so would be of great help.

Thanks

It would probably be a complicated feature to implement. If you want the dev team to consider a feature, you can open a GitHub issue for it. The way you would get rewarded is to create a post like this :)

I suggested the # suggestionbox for that reason. If a website wants to grow, it has to want to keep its users local. Github is not steemit, so steemit issues that were handled at home would keep the user interface at steemit. If you say bring a product that broke to Walmart for a return, they don't send you to target to get your new item. People don't want to handle their problems at another website, is what I'm saying.

The dev team does spend a lot of time reading posts like this. You don't have to, but most people use #steemit-ideas. Also, adding an "open issue" button on Steemit is one of the ideas in the wish list :)

Thanks I'll add that.

I say go for it! I would really like this option available for myself :)

Thank you!
