The last week has been full of posts about VIVAconomy, and it seems that Steemians start trusting a little bit in that project,
I veryfied the last transactions at https://www.tradeqwik.com/exchange , which is trade platform of VIVAconomy, and people have buyed more than 303 VIVAcoins using STEEM only today April 30th, this represents more than 5714 STEEM used to buy VIVAcoins.
As of today exchange rate (STEEM/USD), this represents more than USD$1623.
I even found someone who bought 200 VIVAcoins, which means that he/she bough a VIVAcrown using STEEM
Can this affect Steemit? We need to remember that VIVAconomy is developing their own social platform, it hasn't been launched yet, but it seems to be very similar to Steemit.
I don't think this would affect that much our loved Steemit, but we need to accept that VIVAcrowns ICO (they are launching some VIVAcrowns, which will be limited), tomorrow is creating a lot of different speculation, some people are very positive about VIVAconomy, but some others think that it could be just hype and speculation.
