Showerthought/Conspiracy theory: Steemit is a lot like a parody from Silicon Valley

For those who follow Silicon Valley know that Richard and the crew are creating the 'new internet' which is decentralized.

And lil' pesky Ying-Yang is creating:
'new new internet'
'new youtube'
'new facebook'
'new twitter'
'new 9gag'
and much more.

Funnily enough... With busy.org, Zappl, DTube and DMania it seems as if Steemit's developers have got their ideas literally off Silicon Valley. Or maybe I'm just crazy.
