It strikes me that there seems to be no really good way to let people know you made a good post and want them to have a look at as soon as possible.

So, please SPAM THE HECK out of this post's comment section if you have made a QUALITY post that you'd like me to look at. That way, I'll see your comments when I look for recent replies.

Please follow these guidelines:

  • Post the link to the article, not your blog.
  • Post links to things I might like - not just anything.
  • I won't flag your comment unless you are rude, but I will ignore off topic suggestions.
  • Don't feel bad if I don't upvote. Keep in mind that I might not be online to review your article (never attribute to malice what you can attribute to busyness).

I'm adding the tag #recommendtome - if other people start using this tag to create their own 'please recommend posts to me' post, it will be easy to identify those posts - so, if you want, copy this idea :)

Note that I use the term SPAM jokingly - your post should be Quality.

SPAM AWAY

p.s. If there is a better way let me know, but I think this is fun for now.

Have a look at my introduceyourself post to get an idea of what I like (mostly STEM - science, technology, engineering, math). Also, see the 'recommendtome' meta-tags below.

Recommend to me meta tags (I just made this up - tags that start with $r. to denote what kinds of things you want to see)
$r.engineering $r.nature $r.photography $r.hiking $r.quality $r.science $r.physics $r.mathematics $r.blockchain $r.technology $r.academic $r.truelifestories

Here's a unique story that I came across today!

Although, not so much in the categories you're looking for :P.

Thanks. I should add that I'm also interested in long form quality true life stories. I think capturing these for posterity will be one of the great things Steem does.

Well, ok then! here's mine: my series on the Game Theory of Steem!.

I am writing a series on what graph/social network theory can tell us about the growth of the Steemit network - part 1 is here. I'm working on part 2 now, which will delineate the different roles that users can play in the Steemit ecosystem and describe two potential end-states for the eventual shape of the network.

Thanks for letting me do this! So I have two I think you might like - a true life story, and exactly like you said, Steemit was the outlet for it. I never would have written this if it wasn't for Steemit. And second, I remember you spent some time in the New England area so I thought you might like this. :) Thanks for reading!

Engineering might be a stretch but I like the true life story aspect and it is high quality :)

I wrote this a couple hours ago. Not a bad read for both new and older SteemIt users. An article about the community, the recent reputation changes, and the hatred that needs to be expelled. Check it out here

I'm pretty new to Steemit, but I posted a blog post earlier that wasn't too shabby in my opinion, if you're into that kind of thing.

Thanks. Please reply with a link to the post. Also please make sure it matches what I'm interested in.

This is a great idea thank you very much!

And if possible try my other blog @sinx22

Thanks. In the future please only drop links to things which I specified in the $r. tags. Currently, topics related to whales and minnows are not of interest to me. Best of luck with your article though!

HI again, it's me, @melek. So I realize I already did this once, but I am really curious what a Physics PHD would think about this (it does have math and science in it...). And thanks for reading my other posts. :) https://steemit.com/philosophy/@melek/the-rise-of-pluralism-and-the-supremacy-of-truth
