WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU LEAVE STEEMIT?
There has been mixed feeling about the upcoming hardfork 19. Some people argue that it will not really empower the minnows as proposed. After reading the update by @aggroed,(HF 19- The Clu$terf*ckening and Unintended Consequences) and some comments on that post, you’ll agree with me that the new hardfork will end up empowering only those already at the top the more.
One good thing I believe this hardfork 19 would do is, making more people to see the need to increase their steem power. this may help increase the value of steem. However, the shrinking of 100% votes to only 10 will help satisfy the selfish nature of man as people would use it for curating only the contents that will yield more returns. Everything about the new hardfork is a welcomed development by me except that policy. I find it difficult giving a full 100% votes to all the deserving contents see here.
Shrinking it further would make people focus more only on contents that would have higher payouts. Some minnows feel this would make them get completely left out. As for me, rewards, or no rewards, I’ll always be a part of Steemit. Although, it might affect the periods of time I’ll be spending here. Of course, no one should be spending so much time on things that are not profitable to him.

As long as Steemit is in existence, I'm going no where. I will always be a true Steemian.
People do have mixed feelings for the upcoming HF19 and definitely we will get the true picture tomorrow. As with you I am a true Steemian as well and nothing is going to stop me from loving it. I have only been here for 15 days by the way :)

Thank you for this post. Previously I was playing world of Warcraft and sometimes you got an update that you did not like. Just have to wait it out and in the end the goal of all changes is to make it nicer to be on here. Have fun out there and good luck with future posts!

You say "no one should be spending so much time on things that are not profitable to him. " Still, millions of people are doing it. A reason for me to stay would be following steemians like @papa-pepe and @stellabelle.

Nice to hear that. I have just joined and will be buying steem as soon as I can figure out how to get bitcoins and convert them to steempower. I feel that this community is the best fit for me that I have found and am looking forward to daily blogging although I prefer short and to the point postings.

nothing worth wasting time over. in the end, i would just get flagged and it's not worth my time.

The time / reward ratio. I'm already moving a way from Facebook and dedicating valuable time to steemit. If that time can be monetized, more than a few cents a day, it would remain worth while. If after a few months of doing this, i'm still only making a few cents a day, it's time to re-allocate my time. @ironshield

I would leave Steemit if the community changed and was no longer good. Obviosuly the extra money allows me to post more, And dedicate more of my day on the platform. But it's not the only reason I am here.
