Good info thanks for posting. I think the value of steem is about to rise

Any comment about the sbd/steem rate?

Thanks for these mate. The more I get into the platform, the more I find these useful in developing my understanding of how various aspects come together. I tagged you and linked this in my latest article as I figure you wouldn't mind. :)

Do you have any idea or hypothesis why the steem price is going down ? I mean if Steemit is going well in terms of new users and everything, so why the steem coin is going down instead of going up ?

It's retracing its gains. Actually it's better for the price to be down, for now. Buy cheap STEEM while you still can. When it rallies, reaching $4 or more is not out of the question. I predict a major rally before the end of the year, as do others such as @haejin who are excellent with technical analysis.

Could you explain what you mean by "retracing its gains" to an idiot like me please? I did transfer some sbd into STEEM since I use STEEM to lease delegated sp. But weren't we up closer to $1.50 recently? I do not have enough $$$ to make this a personal issue, but I really do not understand these giant swings.

It means that after its recent impulse wave (rally, spike in price, etc.) all the way to nearly $3 in June, since then it has been consolidating/retracing/decreasing in price, in preparation to spring even higher than it was before. Consider that earlier in the year STEEM was as low as $0.10, so the current price is still quite high.

When looking at price trends, it is best to look long term (months/years as opposed to days/weeks.) Check out this very informative post by @haejin on STEEM, which he calls the "chalice of wealth:" https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@haejin/steem-the-chalice-of-wealth-updated-analysis-target-usd4-by-dec-jan-and-usd14-later-in-2018

P.S. I began buying STEEM around $2.50 in June, and since then have invested over $10k into it. I'm not worried at all. People that are powering down now will be majorly regretting it come next year.

Thnak you!!!!!

I have read some post of others who powered down at a previous time like this. And yes, they regret it based on their posts.

I'm not in a position to invest except for the sbd - I'm just going on the theory of raining my sp being extremely important and working all the angles I can to do that.
