Everyone can't be a whale. How does Steemit expect to retain new members when their posts, no matter how good, get nothing? Not even a cent. I'm tired of spending up to hour on a post to get ignored. Others will and are tiring also.

I've been through to that feeling since I started posting on steemit and received many advises from the community which I know you are receiving too. What's important here is you are informing the community about what you have learned from the outside community, rewards will follow in a very unexpected way. I dont have the rewards like many of us here but I'm getting a few. We'll just have to learn and get involve.

But ask yourself a few questions. Do you engage within the community? Do you comment on other new member posts?
Put yourself out there, not just through posts. Give advice, give feedback, rant. From there you will get followers and attention. From attention, you will get much more cents ;)
Also avoid shitposting. Quality over quantity. Put value in what you write.

I'm curious as to why you flagged my comment that links to my post. It wasn't a bot post and it's actually me trying to give money away to people like OP. I already upvoted this post which gave it .03 and I was offering another .03 to OP.

well all i can say really is, right now its real cheap and you can steem up with a little bit !! you get more pay for your curation of posts !! You may and i say may even be making a good future investment ! Minnows stay minnows for they dont see themselves as dolphins !! think about it !! if you think truly you have something to share and give here, then give and then you will see you can take a little too pretty soon after.
