As far as I can tell, Steemit has chosen to remove the feature to see how many views a post has received.
I was always excited to see what my post viewcounts would end up being so I could see the impact of my increasing follower base.
It would also have been very useful to check how useful promotions/bots could be. How much is a resteem really worth? One of the best ways to find out would be to compare viewcounts! Now I have no way to do that.
I also tend to hate when websites strip out features, so I would love to know why this was done, and it would be great to have it changed back! Hopefully they are just fixing something rather than abandoning this feature entirely.
