How does the balance transfer work on Steemit

This may not be how you do a blog post but i am still new at steemit,I noticed i received some rewards in my Steemit account it gives me the option to Transfer them.I do not want them to stay in my balance how does it work do i leave them or just transfer them to my balance.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
