What keeps you motivated? What keeps you coming back to Steemit everyday? Where does the inspiration for your posts come from?
I really enjoy Steemit, and the little community I have built around myself. It's not a task to make posts for me, and I even enjoy editing the images and making the actual post.
But lately, it feels stale. This could be down to my personal life, which is a whirlwind at the moment, working WAAAY too much on an already busy schedule, but I don't think it's that.
I see great posts doing... well, not so great. I see SO SO SO much spam and empty comments, and I see people falling by the wayside and not coming back.
๐ธ WHY? ๐ธ
What are your thoughts on this?
I would love to see an incentive out there to vote up lower level minnows (low because they are new, not because they have been flagged!).
I would love to see less vote begging (BUT HOW?? - I HATE IT!!!)
I would love to see more GREAT content and more GENUINE interaction
๐ธ HOW? ๐ธ
What do you think?
๐ธ HOWEVER ๐ธ
I do see the people who put effort in reap rewards though. One thing I see is PERSISTENCE pays out.
What I have learnt is that interaction, persistence and good content are the way forward.
I wouldn't trade my Steemit fam for anything - I do truly believe that we have something special here.
I want to recommend that you go and follow the Steemians, they are my favorites. I love their posts and they literally make my Steemit experience.
๐ธ @morkrock - my amazing husband. He has strong political views, and I am proud of him for always standing up for what he believes in
๐ธ @progressivechef - the nicest, most supportive Steemian out there. He is an amazing chef, and runs the #Steemit-IronChef contest every week.
๐ธ @battleaxe - the most kickass supportive Steemian I know. She has two discord channels where she supports many other Steemians.
๐ธ @tattoodjay - an avid photographer taking the most epic shots of New York and surrounds
๐ธ @fyrstikken - founder of Steemspeak and all around badass. Take me to your leader
๐ธ @enginewitty - founder of #thealliance and super supportive badass rapper
I have so many others to recommend, and I will probably end up making a little series out of this. ... Mmmm, yes, I will do this!
I have just this very instant decided this. Every Monday, I will feature three Steemians that I follow, and that bring so much to the Steem Fam. Look out for it!

Always enjoy your posts and the work you put in! I saw many interesting people quit to
and indeed so many people that post low quality stuff.
I go to the new page on travelling once a day and upvote new people to get them motivated.

Thank you for the lovely compliment.
that's great that you do that! That is the way it should be. I think I will also start to do this.

The thought of improving day by day, making money from my writing had always been, not so much a dream, but a deep desire. More than that though, I want to be good, so it's great to have a platform that I can just keep pumping stuff out, get feedback and rewards, and keep improving.
That's a toughy, sometimes I don't feel like coming back, but I do. At the moment I kind of have to, I'm lucky enough to have been here early on, so I attracted some whales and orcas in that period. Steemit allows me to make a little bit of cash while working on other projects.
Absolutely everywhere! I have got loads of articles talking to my man @bleepcoin. Or sometimes I'm reading a comment on a post, that may not even be my own, and boom I get inspired.
Conversations with my girlfriend is another good source for inspiration, we'll be talking about an issue and I suddenly realise that there's an article in there.
Reading books, I read a lot and so there are always tons of interesting facts and stories in books that can be woven into Steemit articles.
At the end of the day, it can come from anywhere, and the more you write, the more it will hit you. For instance I was out in the park the other day and my daughter spotted a Parakeet, boom, article :-)
Mainly I guess, inspiration comes from my interests. I love astronomy and physics and science in general. I love tech, I love sci-fi and AI. So those are my main feeders.
Saying all of that though, I have started a hundred Steemit articles and never finished them.
My god, I've just realised how long my ramble is :-) I'll shut up now!
