As I am moving out of my flat soon I started to sell some of my furniture. I just realized an idea, which I had while I was uploading images on eBay classified.

The idea:

Why not upload a Steemit logo and offer a discount for Steem payments?

So I did. In order to higher the effect of creating interest in Steem I set the discount to 30 percent. Who ever in Berlin is interested in buying the table, one of the cupboards or any other of my items (and more are to come), will find themselves confronted with the opportunity to get it for 30 percent less. That might let one or the other start to investigate what this mentioned Steem is about, how to get it and it might spark some interest.

What is eBay Classifieds?
eBay Classifieds in Germany helps to find whatever one is looking for or wants to sell in their local communities.

Here is what I did.
I uploaded a Steemit logo along pictures from the furniture. In the description text I mentioned the 30 % discount for Steem payments. So it is a very discreet Steem advertising.

GER: Da ich bald umziehe, dachte ich mir, es wäre eine Möglichkeit dezent Steem und Steemit zu bewerben, wenn ich bei Ebay-Kleinanzeigen einen 30 % hohen Rabatt auf die Möbel, die ich dort verkaufe werde, anbiete.
Das könnte den einen oder anderen vielleicht dazu bewegen, sich über Steem zu informieren und vielleicht weckt es ja bei Einigen auch Interesse.

Example:
I am selling this table for 100 EUR, if the buyer pays in Steem the price is roughly about 207 Steem ( -30 % => 70 EUR).
