The first thing you need to do after approval of Steemit account is read the rules and other all the important documents carefully.
Second thing is upload your Profile and cover photos that other people can know you.
Try to make first post on the Steemit, don't copy and paste other website content or maybe your account stay closed soon.
Try to be Patience and write all the post by yourself, I understand that it will take some time but in future it will reward you and you can start to upvoted.
Don't have intention to earn money only, Have a good thoughts that you can write a better post in Steemit.
Insert the Images into your post that other people can attract to your post.
Write Helpful and write for the public, Read the article two time before publish and make a question to your Mind that it is boring or not? if not then publish it and if it is then put some great words and edit it.
