as you may know there are some whales in this community and a upvote for them will directly earn you like 50$, that will not be a problem as long as the whales stay at like0,5% of the community
but all our steem power is growing fast so maby in like 2 years the community will be 25% whales, it will ruin the community i think. what do you think? let me know in the comments
No, let me explain. I think It is not very easy to become a whale and they have earned that status by putting the tremendous amount of contribution to steemit.com in many ways. In the future, I think it is even harder to become a whale since ppl really compete for it. Just like the U.S. we have the most billionaires on earth and that makes us stronger not weaker. Furthermore, It is even harder for a whale to recognize and upvote your post. So be graceful when you get an upvote from one of them and take your money.
